In recent years, there have been reports of smoke and fire incidents caused by mobile batteries both in Japan and overseas.
To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask you to observe the following when using and charging mobile batteries in your room.
■ Safety Guidelines for Mobile Battery Use
- Do not charge while you are out of the room or asleep
- Do not use or charge in direct sunlight
- Avoid unnecessary prolonged charging
- Do not use or charge on flammable materials such as beds, sheets, or curtains
- Do not use devices that show signs of damage, swelling, or abnormal heat
Please charge your devices on a stable surface away from flammable materials.
If you must charge on the bed, do not place the battery under blankets or pillows, and keep it visible at all times.
Please avoid overloading outlets with extension cords or multiple devices.
When charging mobile batteries or electronic devices, ensure they are always within your sight.
If you notice any unusual heat, smell, or smoke, stop using the device immediately and contact the front desk.
■ During Room Cleaning
For safety reasons, if our staff finds any of the above situations during room cleaning, they may
stop charging or move the device as necessary. Thank you for your understanding.
